药用植物的叶
叶序、叶片大小和形状等都是鉴别药用植物的关键,特别是当一种药用植物花的特征不明显的时候,叶的特征显得尤为重要。药用植物叶子的形状大致有三角形、倒卵形、匙形、琵琶形、倒披针形、长椭圆形、心形、倒心形、线形、镰形、卵形、披针形、倒向羽裂形、戟形、肾形、圆形、椭圆形、卵圆形、针形等多种,如下图所示:

叶片上粗细不等的脉络,叫作叶脉。叶脉分两种:
网状脉——叶脉相互交错,形成网状。大多数双子叶植物的叶脉为网状脉。
平行脉——叶脉互不交错,大体上平行分布。大多数单子叶植物的叶脉为平行脉。
叶片是叶的主体部分,通常为一很薄的扁平体。
托叶是叶柄基部、两侧或腋部所着生的细小、绿色或膜质片状物。
叶柄是叶片与茎的联系部分,其上端与叶片相连,下端着生在茎上。叶柄通常位于叶片的基部。
复叶——包括很多种类。
