3.4　Base Plate

Ⅰ　Dominant Items

3.4.1　The base plate shall be set using the bed-mortar method，the 48h-strength of cement for the bedmortar method shall reach the design strength of the foundation concrete.

Inspection quantity:check by batch.

Inspection method:check the bed-mortar block strength test report.

Ⅱ　General Items

3.4.2　The setting of equipment base plate shall be in accordance with requirements of the design documents and the stipulations of the current national standard GB 50231 General Code for Construction and Acceptance of Mechanical Equipment Installation Engineering.

Inspection quantity:20%，by spot check.

Inspection method:visual check，inspection with a caliper and a clearance gauge，and tapping the base plate.

3.4.3　If the grinding method is used，the surface of concrete foundation on which the base plate is laid shall be leveled with a chisel，and the contact points of the base plate and the concrete surface shall be evenly distributed.

Inspection quantity:20%，by spot check.
